Community development financial institutions (CDFIs) are specialized lenders that bring capital to low-income, low-wealth communities. CDFI financial products and services support small businesses, affordable housing, community facilities and more nationwide.
In this session, a panel of leaders from four different local CDFIs will discuss the issues their organizations seek to address, the impact of the CDFI industry-at-large, and how a CDFI can help you start, sustain, or grow your business.
This session is hosted by the KC CDFI Coalition, a group consisting of eight local CDFIs working together to increase awareness and understanding of the services provided by CDFIs and the impact the industry has on our distressed communities.
